Passport to Paris .

Passport to Paris.

Paris is the place I have always dreamed of going so I have been thinking to myself why Paris? I have been obsessed ever since my granddad use to watch the Olsen twins in 'Passport to Paris' with me when I was young. This led me to carry on my craze, by watching the 'Sex In The City' episodes of Carrie in Paris over and over again.

The idea that Paris is the place you go to fall in love has always left me in a rêver like state, dreaming about being whisked away just a few streets down from Chanel on the cobble streets, next to the finest Parisian patisserie. In a knee length polka-dot dress sporting a fur beret and lifting my leg to show the rouge sole of my Louboutins as we kiss. Unrealistic?

Over the years I have invested in my dream. I own the most beautiful vintage cream fur beret that I love, probably as much as its previous owner and I have recently found my perfect spotted dress in Laura Ashley. It is a definite pay day buy as it is a little pricy, yet I love the way the jersey material hangs and it is the perfect length, shape and cut. It just screams Paris on a sunny day! I love it! It has a belted detail too which hangs effortlessly that you can't actually see on the pictures! It is a must have buy for me, for you, for Paris.

Oscar looks.

Oscars Looks.

This post describes some of the other looks that I was loving from the Oscar red carpet!
Cate Blanchett struts down the red carpet in a fantastic Armani Privé nude dress. I'm a huge lover of nude but I do think Cate needed the help of a bit of St. Tropez. The dress is classic red carpet and maybe slightly edging on predictable but the amazing embellishment really does bring a tear to the eye. It is beauty at it's finest. The fanning of the hem as she glides down the carpet really does make Cate look like a million dollars... how much was that dress again?

So, Kate Hudson wasn't nominated for an Oscar but she was still willing to stand out in the crowd by looking like a 1930's Hollywood film star, in her white Versace Great Gatsby inspired beaded statin gown that kept our eyes glued on the plunging neckline. The dress is flawlessly figure hugging on Kate's petite frame and enough to make us start our summer diets!
The dress has a cowl, shawl like aspect to the back that resembles a jacket hanging off her shoulders, which is a look that was buzzing around London Fashion Week.
This look is flawless with it's vintage vibes and it is the look I will keep locked in my brain for future inspiration! I applaud you Kate Hudson you little stunner.

Jennifer Lawrence has recently signed a contract with Christian Dior and this is not a bad thing as she stands there hand on hip looking timeless in her sass, strapless red dress contrasting with the deep red carpet. The peplum panel adding that extra curve to her perfect frame. This dress may be simple but it is classic and timeless, accessorised with her simply beautiful Neil Lane jewellery and clinging onto her Salvatore Ferragamo bag. Overall a Wonderful look for Jennifer.

Hope you enjoyed the Post   Px

The Oscars.

The Oscars.

Sorry it has been a few days since I have written to you all about my fashion ideas but I have been auditioning like mad for drama schools so this has meant travel, travel, travel. What a better return than to write about the Oscars reviewing the best stylist pickings for their famous clients in the biggest competition of their calendar year. Not whether they are in line to win an Oscar oh no but whether they are one of the nominees to win 'Best Dressed'. 'And the Winner Is … Lupta Nyong’o wearing a light blue Prada dress'. It has the most beautiful shape as the soft draping flows to floor with it's shimmering trim, whilst the waist band shows off her amazing hour glass figure adding depth to the dress. Her statement low ‘V’ neckline, revealing that fabulous cleavage really does make her stand out against the rest. She made an entrance and was ready to win as her simple jewellery by Fred Leighton just gave it an effortless feel that all the other competition could only fear.
